Åben atelier i ANA – Astrid Noacks Atelier

I et ydmygt byggeri i en baggård på Rådmandsgade, Nørrebro, boede og arbejde den kvindelige billedhugger Astrid Noack fra 1936 – 1950.
Idag udfolder udstillingsstedet sin praksis i atelieret – i forlængelse af Astrid Noacks arbejde som lokal og socialt engageret billedkunstner og kommunist. Udstillingsstedet har fokus på den stedsspecifikke, kontemporære, eksperimenterende og kritiske kunst.

I ANA’s baggård er der plads til børneleg og et velkomment pusterum i rundgangen på Nørrebro. Her får man et indblik i historiske vilkår for liv og kunst. Børnene kan være kreative med kridt på gårdbelægningen mens forælderne ser på kunst. Der serveres saftevand til børnene og kaffe til de voksne.

Under 48TIMER festivallen udstiller billedkunstneren Niels Christensen værker som led i en længere research proces under titlen Body Bona Fida #1.

Christensen’s er optaget af statens løfte om opretholdelse af liv og ”tryghed” og den samtidige afgrænsning af, hvilke liv dette løfte gælder for. Han viser film og foto fra sin research i Talinn og hovedsædet for det europæiske dataagentur eu-LISA.

In a humble building in a backyard on Rådmandsgade, Nørrebro, the female sculptor Astrid Noack lived and worked from 1936 to 1950.
Today, the exhibition space unfolds its practice in the studio – in continuation of Astrid Noack’s work as a local and socially engaged visual artist and communist. The exhibition space focuses on site-specific, contemporary, experimental, and critical art.

In ANA’s backyard, there is room for children’s play and a welcome break in the walk around Nørrebro. Here, you get an insight into the historical conditions of life and art. Children can be creative with chalk on the courtyard pavement while parents look at art. Juice is served for the children and coffee for the adults.

During the 48TIMER festival, the visual artist Niels Christensen exhibits works as part of a longer research process under the title Body Bona Fida #1.

Christensen is concerned with the state’s promise of maintaining life and “security” and the simultaneous delineation of which lives this promise applies to. He shows film and photos from his research in Tallinn and the headquarters of the European Data Agency, eu-LISA.
